Mezcal Negroni
A bold reimagining of the classic aperitif that swaps gin for smoky mezcal, creating an intriguing dialogue between Italian sophistication and Mexican terroir.
Ingredients
- 1 oz Mana Tibo Mezcal
- 1 oz sweet vermouth (Carpano Antica Formula or Cocchi di Torino are excellent choices)
- 1 oz Campari
- Orange peel for garnish
Steps
1. Add all ingredients to a mixing glass filled with ice.
2. Stir for about 30 seconds until well-chilled and properly diluted.
3. Strain into a rocks glass over a large ice cube.
4. Express an orange peel over the drink to release the oils, then drop it in as garnish.
