Mezcal Mule
A smoky Southwest spin on the Moscow Mule that trades vodka for mezcal, creating a spicy-sweet fusion of Mexican spirit and zesty ginger beer.
Ingredients
- 2 oz Mana Tibo Joven Mezcal
- ½ oz fresh lime juice
- 4-5 oz ginger beer (quality matters – use Fever Tree or Q Ginger Beer)
- 2-3 dashes Angostura bitters (optional, but adds depth)
- Lime wheel and candied ginger for garnish
Steps
1. Fill a copper mule mug (or collins glass) with crushed ice.
2. Pour in mezcal and lime juice.
3. Top with ginger beer.
4. Add dashes of bitters if using.
5. Gently stir to combine.
